World animal protection
In November 2017 Junction 17 donated £750 to The World Animal Protection, a charity with a vision to create a world where animals are free of suffering. Inspiring people to change animals’ lives for the better, this charity works to educate and inform about animal suffering.
Working on many projects worldwide helping governments and communities protect and care for their animals, WAP are tackling animal cruelty and suffering worldwide.
The charity has moved wherever the need for animal protection is greatest; from treating more than 70,000 animals following the Haiti earthquake in 2010, to training vets in Thailand, to ending bear dancing across India in 2012. Ass they’ve grown, they have focused on protecting more animals in more places.
